Hi! Sweetlips K. Beagle here again with something that I think most everyone, even cats, can get on board with -- helping bees!
As many of you already know, bees are finding it more and more difficult to survive in our harsh chemical laden world. Pesticides, herbicides, and many other factors are causing harm to the environment. Bees, like the sensitive canaries used to detect harmful gases in mines, are showing the effects of our reliance on mass produced chemical additives and treatments used on our home lawns and gardens, golf courses, and businesses.
Is the competition to have the greenest, most bug free lawn on the block really worth losing something as precious as our bees and other helpful insects? Where would we be without bees? Bees provide both food and medicine. They pollinate crops and help to keep our world a beautiful and healthy place to live. The least we can do is help them to thrive once again.
