Cherish the Poetry - Derelict

The storm came driving the surge with a force of reckoning.
Tempest-tossed now you lay forgotten, forsaken.
What did you think that fateful night - the lower lights beckoning -
This, too, shall pass and upon the dawn I will awaken to a bright, new day?

  1. Nice. Are these excerpts from the novel?

  2. Some are excerpts and some may become a book of related poetry. I haven't decided yet. Still in the building phase of the storyline. Glad you liked this one. Thanks for the comment. :-)
